Rays Of Sunshine Wish Sponsored By Sunflower Jam

The Sunflower Jam held an auction at this year’s Sunflower Jam event at The Royal Albert Hall on 8th July 2011. We teamed up with Rays of Sunshine to offer four families, who have critically ill children, a holiday to EuroDisney. Rays of Sunshine are able to source of all the medical equipment and insurance that is needed for the Children’s travel. Here is the story from our first Family.

Jack, aged 5 from Blackley, Northamptonshire. Jack is living with Severe Combined Immune Deficiency and is treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

Jack’s wish was to have a family holiday at Disneyworld, Paris. The cost of fulfilling Jack’s wish was £2,500. Jack and his family spent 3 nights and 4 days at Disneyworld, Paris. We arranged for the family to stay at The Newport Bay Hotel and enjoy everything that the theme park had to offer. The family had a character breakfast and also saw The Buffalo Bill show. Jack loved the whole wish experience and he thought that the characters were fabulous! The family had a great time.
